[glow=red,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]
In the depths of the land I was born alone into this world. In the depths I will leave this world. Alone?
A liquid fire bright with color and energy spewed from the chambers of the earth as the volcano of Chador began to erupt once again and burn the beautiful lands around it. A small wolf pack lied in the woodsy terra just north of an even smaller human clan where all was frantic. Between this pack of wolves and this clan of human there were two weary mothers who were about to give birth on this day. One was a wolf by the name of Cokino-beautiful gray and tan pelted-, the other a human that went by Julik.
The mother wolf was having a hard time climbing the rigorous hill between the volcanic lands and the packs destination of the shores. Her time had come. Cokino had to stop trying to escape now and find a den that was private enough so that she could give birth. Luckily one such den was not far. She went down into the pit and climbed carefully into the dark damp chamber of a cave, most likely a former birthing den of another bordering pack. The gray fea soon gave birth to two feas in the dreadfully dark cave that was losing air quickly. One precious pup was black, the other white. Now Cokino rested and the other pack members had moved on without her towards safety.
The next morning the fiery volcano had halted but then reerupted. This time the lava came with greater speed and higher temperatures than before and poored into the small den with the mother and newborns. The mother was instantly dead in the extreme heat yet the pups miraculously survived that horrid day.
One Year Later
"Ca'mon Kilie!" shouted Cresen, the white fea. The black fea trailing behind in the soft lush grass sighed. "I'm co'min' Cres." as she padded slowly after her sister. "Where are we going again?" asked the black fea with three red stripes, "TO test our powers again silly!" answered the white fae with three red stripes across her pelt.
Cresen and Kilie were the two pups that had survived the volcanic eruption without a scratch. During the catastrophic event they had each been given the ability of fire, which was what had saved them. Now they were to become great masters of flame and furry.
Kilie was working on her aim wile Cresen was trying to get her temperature to raise higher making her flame more powerful. Powerful flames were what Cresen wanted the most. And she would get with time. Their master, or trainer, was Tynil. A fire cat that had been on the island for many years. "Good Cresen. Excellent Kilie." he said to the two. "You may go home now." he said with a smile apon his black maw.
Cresen and Kilie reached home, but it was not the same as they had left it. It had been destroyed, and written in blood on the rocks they had slept on were the words, "Demons of fire! Burn in Hell!" and the two sisters got a sad look apon their once bright faces. They had been rejected again and punished just for being who they are. The two walked off slowly through the moonlit woods gracefully yet with a sad air about them. It was like their hearts were happy yet their minds were down. It was neither. They had learned to fake how they felt and confuse other about themselves. Cresen was a mastery at this. She could almost make others do as she wished just by thinking it. Now they needed food and shelter for the skies had an eerie darkening, which meant another storm was coming through the tropics.
The two wolvens came across an old human foundation that seemed long deserted. As they slowly and cautiously entered the plantation and walked into the city their eyes and ears were alert to the slightest motions. Cresen got worried as she heard a voice and alit herself in flame. Kelie made herself appear larger and her fur stood on end preparing to use that accuracy she had practiced. Nothing. A voice with no body. Odd. The words of the melancholy voice rang throughout Cresen's sharp mind as she was still convinced it was out there. The human.
"Wolves wondering leave humans pondering. Wolves of flame leave humans to blame."
She knew not what they meant but she got that feeling. That feeling that creeps up your back quickly and leaves you cold, then leaves a pain in your stomach. She had this feeling telling her there was more to the words than one would expect.
Suddenly from behind a tanish building that seemed to be crumbling just from the slightest movements of a breeze appeared a girl. The source of the voice! Though young it made cresen and Kilie stop dead in their tracks and their optics widen a good deal at the terror that all human kind placed apon the wolves’ fragile minds. Cresen could not take her purplish blue optics off of the young dark skinned girl nor could Kilie. The girl move, the wolves moved the opposite direction. The girl moved back. The wolves moved back. Then the small human shouted out with a great deal of fury, "Kill them!" and with that Cresen and Kilie saw about ten strong men with silver-tipped spears placed in their hands ready to slash the throat of whatever they wished to be rid of. In this case, it was the sisters.
Cresen panicked and her eyes looked around like crazy. Her body was covered in flames and she made them so hot the hat waves emitted from her body cause the spears the men held to come alive with flame themselves. In the meantime Kelie was on the offence hand as she hurled her flaming energy ball out from her mouth towards the people. A great howl echoed through the air as the sister's harmonized their notes calling for help. And they were answered.
A large cat seemed to appear in a cloud of smoke in front of the humans roaring a mighty roar. The men back off for they had never seen the panther before though they had seen the wolves. His pelt was black and the normally gray spotted pattern apon it was a vibrant red in color. The roar emitted knocked many humans off their feet and flat onto the ground, but in the end they were all gone form the perimeter. Now Tylin turned around and picked the two wolven up and tossed them roughly onto his back as he sent a massive stream of flame torching the village and the villagers among it. Screams were heard coming from the humans as they asked themselves why they were being punished by the gods.
Tynil made sure that the area he took the wolves to was safe and secure enough for them to live in peace. “I’m sorry girls.” He said as the wise elder shook his head. “They do not understand. You must master your powers quickly as to defend yourselves better.” He said. The feline was like an older brother to the sisters. “But why.. why to they want us… dead? I don’t understand.” Pleaded Cresen. “one day you will Cresen. One day.” Tylin told her as he set up the targets for Kilie again.
The black fea walked over to her sister’s side and whispered into her ear, “Let’s not go near any humans again OK?” with a smile. “Ok.” Cresen answered.
One Year later
Cresen padded through the woods on the strong sent of a freshly killed deer. Cresen herself was too weak from unbearable hunger to hunt herself so she planned on stealing it. All of the hunted food had been given to Kilie who was sickly and needed to nutrition. Plus the fact that it was a dry year meant less game in general for the wolven to feed of off.
The sent grew stronger as she neared the kill that was made by a lone wolf. His fur was gray and he had two golden wings set apon his back. He saw her and took emeciate notice to her weakened state and offered her some of his kill. “I couldn’t possibly eat it all.” He said with a smile. Cresen nodded her white head and ate as much of the venison as she possibly could. “Thanks.” She told the rather handsome brute. “I’m Cresen.” She said as she smiled at him. The brute nodded his gray head. “I’m Solz.” and he began to groom his fur. He was al gray with white strips going up his legs and his feathers were amazing. Cresen stared at them in awe for she had only seen such things on birds before. “Can you fly?” she asked him. With that he smiled and swooped up into the air gracefully coming back down on his tiptoes. “That I can. Along with control winds.” He said with a smile. Cresen was happy to know that it wasn’t only her sister and Tylin that could control parts of nature. “I can wield fire.” She said. For the first time in a very long time. Perhaps even ever, cresen was happy with someone.
Within two months the brute was living with Kilie and Cresen in their safety in the woods. “how do you feel Kilie?” Solz asked. He was like part of the family now and planned on entering mate hood with Cresen. “Oh much better thanks.” The black fea said with a happy smile as she watched her sister tenderly lick Solz’s ear. Cresen smiled and her and the gray brute went further into the woods to speak for a moments.
“Cresen. You are my love you are my life. I ask you know to be with me forever through matehood and have our children. Have our heart as one.” He said. It wasn’t quite as Solz had planned it but cresen howled a happy. “YES!” she covered him in kisses. Hey pranced back though the sunlit forest to tell Kilie of the good news. She was so happy she got up and danced around with her sister howling up to the sun. “I knew it Solz!” Ki said warmly. Cresen had a question drifting through her mind. “Solz. What about your family?” she asked him. Solz replied happily, “That is where we are going next.” With a smile. “But I must check it out first. You never know what quarrel they are in.” he said as he shook his head.
The next week Solz had left to seek out his family. He would be back within the next week for he was an excelent flyer. As she watched him take off into the colorful sunset Cresen was sad yet happy. “Kilie. I’m glad… I’m glad I found someone that loves me.” She said to her sister. “Me to Cres. Me to.” Kilie had worried about Cres growing older with noone else but she and was hoping someone would grow to love her. And one did.
Three Months Later
‘Solz.. where are you.. I need you now…’ Cresen though as she ran frantically through the dense foggy woods trying to reach to source of her sister’s cry for help. Kilie was caught in a bear trap laved by the humans for they had a grueling fear of a large black bear nearby their homes, which were rebuilt. Cresen’s pace quickened as she began to have a location that she sister was at. She turned through the woods left and right avoiding large lust trees as the sun came through to light up the fogged land a bit. The small water droplets just became more plentiful however and made it more difficult to see through with Cresen’s bare eyes.
When she finally got to her sister the trap had dug into her skin a good deal. Blood stained the ground and Kilie’s back leg as she was struggling to break free. Much of her blood had been lost in her panic for freedom and she was growing weak and light headed. “Hand in there Kilie.” Cresen said as she tried to carefully melt away the iron trap. But as she did so is melted into Kilie’s flesh and Cresen burst out crying for her sister. Kilie’s heart rate was slowing and cresen curled up with her. Her white bushy tail rapped around her sister’s black legs and her maw nuzzling her head. Tears covered the ground and as Kilie took her last breath Cresen let out a great mournful howl to the skies above that echoed through the air. She lied weeping next to her sister’s dead body for days, refusing to leave it to the scavengers. She would not even leave to refresh herself with drinks and a meal. She lied there, not sleeping, her mind turning towards her burning hatred for humans more and more now.
Once Kilie’s beautiful black body began to rot away Cresen decided it was time to leave it. It was the law that the birds and other scavengers take what’s not eaten of a kill or a deceased body.
Cresen’s heart was weary as she traveled the lands. Too many old memory haunted her in this place. Too many. So now came one of the hardest decisions of Cresen’s life. To leave her homeland and seek out a fresh start without the sorrows? Or to stay and continue to live on as she was with Solz. She decided to tart over in a new land with new wolves. Maybe one’s that would accept her for who she was.
The new Lands
A white fea wondered the bright grassy land that had plenty of trees and lakes. One she found had a wolf pack, but none were as she. She hid her red stripes under a dirty pelt and would not use her powers she decided. She must have a pack. She was weak from wondering for long weeks with hardly any food. Her sight was beginning to fad so she set out for the new wolves.
They accepted her, although many objected to it. She proved to be useful as a hunter but offended others, especially one by the name of Indigo. But she got along. Well feed. Well taken care of.
About a week into her arrival the light was cast down apon a friendly shadow. “SOLZ!!” Cresen bound up to her love happily. The brute was also glad to see her. “It was a hard journey and a huge fight going on with my family. Sorry Love.” He said and took her off into the woods. “Cresen. I wanted to know. Do you want pups?” “Yes.” Came happily from the white fea’s maw. Now they went off to the mating grounds.
One Year Later
Cresen’s children roamed the pack lands happily as they played with another set of siblings. One brute and two feas was the outcome of Cresen and Solz’s litter. The brute held two red wings apon his back that his father thought how to hide from the other pack members.
The three youngsters were playing a careless game of tag down by the lake and Marlay, one of the feas, jumped into the water after a fish. Jazzeli followed but did not know how to swim. Jolex stayed out on shore to stare at a strapping young lady pup he had a crush on. Mar caught the fish and swam back out of the cool water onto the grassy area beside it and watched Jazz try to remain above water. “You can do it Jazz./” she said with a laugh. Jazzile swallowed water and kept going under. The adults were away from the water enough to not see what was happening. Mar laughed and ate her fish, soon to fall asleep in the warm sun with a full stomach. Jazz was still panicking in the water and Jolex was with the fea he had a crush on and was oblivious to anything else going on. One time Jazz went down under the water, she did not come back up to the surface.
Cresen and the other pack members searched frantically for the dear pup. When no sign of her, they came to the conclusion she was lost forever more.
Cresen wept over her child’s loss for many suns and many moons. Her heart grew cold and bitter. Solz and her remaining children tried with all their might to cheer her up but nothing seemed to have any effect. With the reoccurring dream of her sister’s horrid death and the thought of her daughter drowning lead the mother wolf to seek out a way to ease her pain. She found that cure in the darkness.
She wondered through many lands until she found Demon Wolf Tribe. Here her dark side flourished and grew stronger until her heart was blacker than space. She grew wise and cunning in the dark lands under the leadership of her alpha Ax and alphess Keita. She was a very loyal servant and she grew to love the taste of blood and the sight of another’s pain and became a worthy Demon Assassin for the Night Stalkers.
One day she suddenly went off to another land between light and dark. It was there she strayed by Jolex who was a guardian off all lands. She fought a rigorous battle against her son and in the end both were forced to pull back from the wounds they had received. She returned to the darkness to find a mate- Rikou. She did not truly love him. Just joined with him in the darkness to produce heirs. But as it turned out Cresen and Rikou never had children together for the lands were not so long after emptied.
None knew why many of the wolven left but they did. Leadership was passed down to a pup named Cobra, which Cresen truly adored and thought of as her own son, and his children her grandchildren.
Now another wolven entered the darkness of the Night Stalkers name Niota. Niota was very cleaver and strong mined, and unknowingly to all she was actually a wolf named Cosa reborn. Cresen trained Niota to become dark and then the pup went off with Shadow and Nyre to form a sisterhood.
Cresen had turned bitter on her old family and wished nothing more than for them no be dead by her fangs. One evening in the darkness she got her wish. She was able to kill Solz as he attempted to pull Niota, his daughter, out of the darkness and back to the light. He had failed.
Cresen’s old alphess, Keita, went away for some time but then came back and Cresen once again became loyal to her.
Although Cresen was a dark wolf, her heart was still somewhat its original light. And that small bit of goodness left in her was falling for a wolf named Rico, the leader of the light clan. Yet it could never be, she knew that and it saddened her. But she continued her lift showing no signs of having any liking at all for the brute.
One Year Later
Cresen had left the old lands of the Night stalkers and sought out a new one. She found and interesting terra where the moon’s light left fire and air was thick with darkness and revenge. She formed a pack and had but two members. A fea by the name of Dreamer and a brute that went by Storm. It was a small pack yet it was.
One morning wile she was taking her morning run through the lands she was thinking of an old wolven, Ularicolf- or Rico. Now that she was alphess, if she could find him then she would have no limits of to whom she could love. All she needed was for him to love her.
That very morning as the sun shone high in the sky and filled it with color Rico himself appeared. Apparently they had loved each other all along and soon became mates.
Now the white fea is still looking for a place to call her home. One that will stay her home. Forever. Along her mate’s side she searches long and hard to find a terra willing to accept her and not turn her into another outcast. Now she needed a home. Not just a place to live. A home. Somewhere she could come back to at the end of the day and be comfortable and not worry about who was plotting against you. This is what she sought out now. This is what she would find in the lands of Hellion Spirits. The land that was once her home shall becom grand with with the eternal flame once again.[/shadow][/glow]
